Rising 2nd Grade: Summer Reading 2015
Required book: Frog and Toad are Friends by Arnold Lobel
After you have read Frog and Toad are Friends, write a letter to a friend telling them why they
are a good friend. Write your letter using the form and directions at the end of the list.
Do NOT mail your letter, bring it with you on your first day as a second grader.
We want you to read a lot so here is a list of suggested books to get you started. Keep a list of the books you
and your parents read and bring it to school too.
