Reading is a fantastic way to spend some of your free time over the summer months! We recommend reading
at least 20 minutes a day. Incoming 4th Graders are required to read Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy
Blume and be prepared to discuss the book when school starts.
In addition, students should read at least 5 more books and choose one of them to either complete a book
report, using the form provided below, OR write a friendly letter following the guidelines below. Be prepared
to turn in your book report or letter. Also make and bring an author and title list of all the books you read.
