Lower school tech teacher Catherine Miller has been using Teach Your Monster to Read with some of our early childhood students, and they absolutely love it! This engaging website would be a great resource to tuck into your summer learning stockpile for little people.
This British-designed program is for use on a PC or Mac, but they reportedly do have plans for an App. Funded by the Usborne foundation, it is free of charge.
I started to work on text to describe the program but came across the fabulous user's guide, and decided it would introduce the program far better than I could - with cool illustrations... Enjoy!
